Michel Valestin (1962 -)was born in Port-au-Prince. He is an outstanding artist who was originally encouraged and assisted by the Galerie Issa,Port-au-Prince. His early works mainly depicted seascapes and marine scenes. He became more versatile in his later paintings, where he experimented with new colours and new subject matters.
